National Liver Summit – New Approaches to Funding Liver Research in Canada

The Canadian Liver Foundation is hosting a one day summit to examine ways in which liver research funding organizations and individual major gifts can more effectively and efficiently come together to support the work of the research community. We also wish to examine how a more coordinated liver research funding model will have a much greater positive impact that will result in improved health outcomes in Canada. The overall goal is to establish a new, mutually beneficial and collaborative funding model coupled with a coordinated communication plan for research findings and an effective strategy to determine and measure the impact of the funding.
