Women In Government: A briefing on intellectual property protection and global health

Ward Health Strategies coordinated a briefing for eight members of Women In Government’s (WIG) Executive Committee on patents, innovation, and related health policy initiatives. The briefing included an overview of patents, their tie to innovation, and provided a brief discussion of the IGWG and two U.S. related resolutions. The meeting concluded with a discussion of the issues from the patients’ perspective.
