Ward Health was commissioned by EFPIA and PhRMA on behalf of the global research-based pharmaceutical industry to undertake a survey of patient stakeholder views about increased transparency of data used in clinical trials. This survey is part of ongoing efforts to ensure that the global pharmaceutical research industry has a comprehensive view of stakeholder opinion on an issue that directly affects patients.
Using online searches of publicly available information, a database was constructed of patient organisations throughout Europe. To date, some 200 patient organisations have responded to the survey. We have shared these results with them. The results of the survey are published below.
